Industry Institute Engagement
As the Institute's endeavour to integrate with industry and contribute to
its ongoing growth, the faculty offer an integrated systems approach to
management issues. The objective of this engagement is to collaborate with
industry in dealing with the management issues faced by them and to partner
with organizations in helping their employees achieve their potential. Business Buzz
To facilitate an understanding of the present and emerging business and
healthcare contexts, a quiz is conducted every week on current articles
in financial newspapers and business magazines.War of Words
Each term the students at the Marian Institute involve themselves in a healthy
debate over topics of concern in the healthcare sector. Through logical
consistency, factual accuracy as well as some emotional appeal the participants
sharpen their skills of persuasion and presentation in the context of the
particular issue. The recently held debate in September, pitched the idea
of Hi-Tech v/s Hi-Touch in the field of healthcare.
